Internal medicine deals with complex conditions that are difficult to diagnose, challenging to manage and may require extensive long-term (chronic) treatment. Internal medicine covers non-surgical diagnosis and treatment of diseases of many organ systems. Often, general practice veterinarians will manage and treat many of these problems. However, referral to a veterinarian with additional training (internal medicine residency) may be recommended to help with more complex cases.
Sun City Veterinary Surgery Center provides extensive diagnostic capabilities in order to more accurately diagnose disease, increase patient safety, and improve surgical outcomes.
